How to add double quotes auto complete (" ") after the equal (=) xml in android studio 2.0

    Android studio 2.0 have lot of option Inbuiltly. So we need to dig more to find more option. As some of people posting that auto completion of adding double quotes is not working in xml.

For ex when you type layout_height  Prev version of android studio automatically brings android:layout_height=""

But in android studio 2.0 people are getting upto layout height no double quotes ("") that is android:layout_height= 

Because of this issue android developers are getting frustrated



Solution :
         Actual Solution is very simple. just follow the below steps to add double quotes auto complete (" ") after the equal (=) xml in android studio 2.0

Step 1 : Goto Settings by clicking File > Settings or by short-cut  Ctrl+Alt+S
Step 2 : In Settings screen. 
                          goto to Editor > General > Smart Keys
Step 3 : now scroll down to find the option "Add Quotes for attribute value on typing "=" and attribute completion.
Step 4: now tick the check box . and click apply and ok. thats it. now you will get the double quotes after (=) symbol

How to enable & Disable System UI Tuner to customize the status bar and Quick settings in Android 6.0 Marshmallow


Introduction about System UI Tuner.
     In android 6.0 Marshmallow Google introduced  new Hidden option called System UI Tuner. By enabling this option Android user can customize the status bar and quick settings available in the notification bar. I also wonder about System UI Tuner because I already have thought of customization of status bar and quick settings. As Google know the User Feeling they introduced System UI as Experimental feature. At any time System UI Tuner may change break or disappear in future releases.
    If you ask me i really need these kind of features so that we can tweak and customize the Android User Interface. We hope Google will not remove this feature in future.
    Okay Cool feature. So you also want these feature in your phone? don't worry here i list the steps to enable and disable the System UI Tuner
Note : System UI Tuner is experimental Feature. A User can Enable and Disable the Feature. So At any time you can revoke or remove the option from setting . I hereby list the steps to disable the Feature.
Need : To Enable System UI Tuner feature you need to have Latest OS Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Steps to enable the System UI Tuner Feature:
Step 1: Pull down your Notification bar , Now you can see the settings icon in the right upper corner . Long press the setting icon for min 2 seconds
Step 2 :Now you will get the Toast Message as"Congrats! 
System UI Tuner has been added to Settings". and the setting page also automatically will open once the feature is enabled. The Settings Icon also changed in the Notification bar


Step 3 :Afer Enable the System UI Tuner. Just Scroll the list of options in the settings screen . The last option added as "System UI Tuner"

Step 4 : Now click the System UI Tuner . It will show the dialog box titled as "Fun for some but not for all" that shows the message "System UI Tuner gives you ways to Tweak and customize the Android User Interface. These experimental features may change, break, or disappear in future releases. Proceed with caution"
   Now click "Got It" button, and go to the System UI Tuner.

System UI Tuner Have Following Four Features :
  • Quick Settings
  • Status Bar
  • Show Embedded Battery Percentage
  • Demo Mode
Quick Settings :
   Quick Settings is used to rearrange the icons . by clicking the Quick Setting you will get the Quick setting rearrange icon screen where we can rearrange the quick settings icon
Reset the Quick setting to the default  by clicking the Reset Button from action menu at the right upper corner.
Status Bar :
   It is used to customize the status bar . remove the unwanted icons in status bar. if you want to remove the bluetooth icon even bluetooth is turned on , just toggle off the blue tooth.

Show Embedded Battery Percentage :
  So many of people want to know the battery percentage. for that they installed thirdpart application. But by this feature we can show the battery percentage within the battery icon.

Demo Mode :
   Demo mode is use to show the Full wifi and full battery full tower in the mobile and show the default time 6:00.
   By clicking the Demo Mode you will enter the demo mode. Now Toggle On the "Enable Demo Mode". and Toggle on Show demo Mode. Now you can view the demo mode



 Steps to enable the System UI Tuner Feature:
Step 1 : Goto Settings from Notification bar or Launcher screen
Step 2 : Find the last menu below the About phone you can find the "System UI Tuner" and click
Step 3 :Click the Action Menu ->Remove From Settings. Now you will get the Dialog box as "Remove System UI Tuner from Settings and stop using all of its features" with cancel and Remove button

Step 4 : Now Click the Remove button from dialog box. Thats it. System UI Tuner will be removed from your settings menu.

How to Enable and Disable the App Permission in Android 6.0 Marshmallow Phone

 Google Totally changed the App permission structure in Android Marshmallow 6.0. Pre Marshmallow version cannot revoke the App permission . So that installed app can get all permission without our knowledge.
For example a Amazon requesting 5 permission
  • Camera
  • Contacts
  • Location
  • Storage
  • Telephone
From Marshmallow we can revoke the single permission that app needs. Camera Permission can revoke for amazon so that amazon cannnot use our camera likewise unwanted permission can be revoked by users .

App Permission for Individual Application(By Application Category)
Step 1: Click Settings icon from the Notification bar or from launcher

Step 2:From Settings Menu Click the "Apps" Next screen will show the list of app installed in your android phone
Step 3: Now Click any of app to see what type of permission already granted 
Step 4: For Example i selected the Flipkart Application. 
Step 5:  Now you will get "App info" Screen, it will show the Uninstall, Force Stop, Storage, Data Usage, Permissions, Notifications, Open by default, Battery, Memory. 
Step 6: Select the Permissions. Now it will show the App permissions for Flipkart. From this Screen you can enable and disable the permissions.
Note: If you disable permission means Some of the functionality of the Application will not work. For ex if you disable the location permission , App cannot fetch your current location

Manage All App Permission (By Permission Category)
Step 1: Click Settings icon from the Notification bar or from launcher
Step 2: From Settings Menu Click the "Apps" Next screen will show the list of app installed in your android phone
Step 3: Now click the settings icon at the right upper corner. 
Step 4: Now you will get "Configure Apps" From that Click the App Permissions
Step 5: Now you can see the what are all the permission available for all installed applications. 
Step 6: Now Click any of permissions from the list. for example i selected the Location Permission Now it will display the list of app that uses the Location permission . From the screen We can disable or enable the Location permissions



how to Enable(Turn on) Google Now on Tap in marshmallow Android Phone

Google Now on Tap is the amazing feature in Marshmallow. It is used to Analyse the content in the current screen . and show the best informative result by just long pressing the home menu button. Pre Marshmallow don't support this feature yet.

Step 2: Now long pressing the home button is enough to open the Google Now tap screen from any screen.

Step 6: Now you will get the result in Tap. For ex I searched about Sundar Pitchai in chrome and then i long pressed home button  now it showing the result for sundar pitchai. Great Feature in Marshmallow
 If it dont have any appropriate result means it will show the Nothing on Tap screen
